Our local beach and a spectacular 3 mile sweep of golden sand.
At high tide the water comes up and cuts the main Perranporth Beach off from the rest of Perran Sands, but you can still clamber up and over the cliff path or head down to Perran Sands through the Haven Holiday Park.
At low tide it’s a fantastic walk down the sand, past craggy cliffs and gigantic dunes towards Ligger Point.
Town is well equipped for bucket and spade holiday makers, with lots of ice-cream shops, beach shops, takeaway and the Watering Hole – the ‘pub on the beach’.
There’s a seasonal dog restriction here, which dictates that all dogs must been on a short lead between July and August on the main town beach.
